Fastech: A collaborative research project

Assessment and feedback is an essential task, but how can technology improve this? FASTECH aimed to examine assessment processes on programmes of study, and review how institutions and systems frame student learning. This was a collaborative, JISC funded project between Bath Spa University and the University of Winchester.

Although the project website is no longer online more information can be found here, including how the project was informed by student fellows who worked with their peers to observe and review the technologies under investigation. The final report and evaluation report are both available to download from the Jisc Design Studio site.

The project lead for Bath Spa University was Professor Paul Hyland, and the subject specialist for Bath School of Art & Design was Neil Glen.
